Lubuntu 14.10, PCManFM file manager...I realize all I have to do to unmmount or eject a mounted device is open the file manager, then right click on the listed device to unmount or eject, but it would sure be nice to be able to do same from the context menu for a mounted device icon on desktop. Is there any way to do this? I've researched and implemented how to add "empty trash" and "open folder as root" to the context menus but I cannot find any means to add unmount, eject. I also tried to install a program called ejecter but it would not work- could not find out much about it past Ubuntu 12.04.

Probably the quickest way to unmount is double-click on a device icon to open it (or right-click>open), then use the side pane's device entry to eject. When ejected, the window will close by itself and you can remove the device. Other mounted devices can be removed as well before you eject the device you opened. I think soon the eject option will be added to the right click menu.
