View Full Version : [ubuntu] Install Ubuntu touch to MePad 172v

Hi guys!
I'm gonna install Ubuntu Touch on my Asus MemoPad 172v but I can't. Terminal show me same massage "adb: unable to connect for backup"
I don't know what to do.
I start using Linux 4 day. Ubuntu on my lap top. And I want Install to my tablet.
Help me do this pls.

Oh God!
By this instructions (https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/start/ubuntu-for-devices/installing-ubuntu-for-devices/) does'nt work. Some wrong way. Why all this make so difficalt and hard?!
I'm begining hate ubuntu like android.

it's an android device, made to run android. you don't just pop a os on an hope it works. it has to be built for the device, you need drivers, code, etc... other wise nothing will work even if you managed to get it on. why hate, does android not do what you need to do. you can root android, even find roms built for that device:

your issue is not the os, its user error, like wanting your toaster to microwave your food. my apologize if i offend
