Firefox Text Box Problems with Dark Theme

I'm using Gnomish Dark theme in Ubuntu 14.04 and I can't read the majority of text boxes as they are either a white background with white text or a dark background with black text. I've tried other dark themes but they're all the same. I searched the forum and found an old solution, however, it has made no changes whatsoever and the thread was closed so I couldn't post a reply. Can anyone help me out with this?
