Hi.

I have Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7 on a single mSata drive. For some reason Windows 7 will not boot anymore and Ubuntu is throwing up some internel error windows and Firefox crashes a fair bit This dual boot system is not old and Windows is not needed anymore so I would like to just install Ubuntu FRESH on my mSata drive.

Will the install wizard format all my drive during Ubuntu installation for should I format my mSata from the live cd prior to the install?

Thanks.

You can reformat through the install wizard.

If you don't want windows any longer, you should have an option in the Installation Type window during the install to Erase disk and install Ubuntu. If you have any data still on the drive, move it to a backup first.
