How long will Xubuntu 14.04 Be Supported?
How long will Xubuntu 14.04 Be Supported? I keep getting conflicting answers is it Lubuntu 3 year support cycle or Ubuntu 5 year support cycle?

The way I understand this is that the "Xubuntu team" will support their packages in Xubuntu 14.04 for 3 years (as stated in the link in post #2) - such as the xfce4 packages. After that, packages in common with Ubuntu will still be updated until such time when Ubuntu 14.04 is no longer supported.
