I'm also in the dark ages.
After all, 4K display is still expensive.

Okay. At the risk of unseemly flaunting...

Four identical 10-yr-old 1600x1200 monitors picked up from office equipment auction: $50 each/$200 total

GPU HIS Radeon HD 7950: $150 ebay

Cables & adapters: $50

Total resolution: 4800 x 1600
Total cost: $400

It's not 4K HD, but it's close. What's not close is the cost. Not close. At all.

Happy New Year.

Goodness me, Irihapeti.....I didn't think there WAS anything smaller!

Regards,

Mike. ;)Okay, I'll bite. I once tried to debug a script using a serial port attached to a scrolling LED display. Guestimated resolution: 48x10. In the snow. Uphill. Both ways.

Only in the alternate reality of a Linux forum can a thread about monitor resolution turn into bragging rights about the smallest device ever used.

Currently for me it's 2560x1440 at home, and 7680x1080 at work. No idea what the resolution of my phone is though

1920x1200, a strange resolution for a strange man.

EDIT: Well, I guess it's not that strange, but I haven't come across it in the screens I've seen.

This month, EIZO will launch SQFHD (1920 x 1920) display, priced at 129,600 JPY in Japan.
It is very interesting, but too expensive.
