How long will Ubuntu Mate 14.04 Be Supported?

How long will Ubuntu Mate 14.04 Be Supported? I keep getting conflicting answers is it Lubuntu 3 year support cycle or Ubuntu 5 year support cycle?

Like other community flavors Ubuntu MATE 14.10 is supported on the desktop for at least the next three years, but should also get critical security fixes through the duration of its parent.

Three years. The support will end after 3 years. Only the parent (Ubuntu) will get the 5 years support for LTS release.

Till 2019 according the the Ubuntu Mate website. I'd expect they would know.
