View Full Version : /sbin/init exists but couldn't execute it (error -8)

Can't run ubuntu after installing from USB. Error with my code - 8 didn't find anywhere. Reinstalled system 4 times, fs ext4, second os Win7 working properly. Attempts to reinstall grub in live mode gave nothing.

Boot USB made in UltraISO(for other dists worked fine), also tried "unetbootin-windows-608" but in this case i when bootin from usb, see only blinking cursor.

iso:ubuntu-gnome-14.10-desktop-amd64
By the way i386iso was installed and booting normal, but have troubles with screen brightness control hotkeys

PC model: asus k53sm.
What i should try to fix my problem? Lose all day on this problem :(

Have you checked the live disk for errors?
