Security "upgrades" to other packages between Dec 8 and Dec 15, 2014, have rendered sound juicer 3.5 (the version in the trusty repository) inoperable. In the utopic (14.10) stable repository there's a sound juicer 3.12; can it be made to work on trusty? Does anyone know of a ppa that covers this sort of transitional stuff, a la rhythmbox's fossfreedom ppa? Should I just download the sound juicer 3.12 source package and go from there? Or is 3.12 also known to fail after recent upgrades?
