I have tried to install Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Server but it has gone wrong!
I had to shut down to get out of the installation and now all I get is a whole host of scrip ending in:
[ 5.138130] Adding 8331260k swap on .dev/mapper/jisawserver--vg-swap_1. Priority:-1 extents:1 across:8331260k FS

I cannot reboot and start all over again. I can enter in terminal mode but I do not understand the terminal to well and I could not get from the terminal to the screen.
How do I get out of the script that appears and how can I re install the server?
Can you offer any advice please.

I am not sure I fully understand what you did, nor where you have got to at the moment.
The ubuntu server edition does not have any desktop environment, ie, no GUI to use; if you don't add one after installing, it only has a command-line interface. Why did you choose the server edition if you are not able to use the command line?

However, assuming you can login to the command line and you want to end up with a standard Ubuntu desktop with the unity DE, you can try running the command
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
