I have been trying to install Lubuntu 14.04 64-bit on Acer Aspire 5040.
The computer has buttons for bluetooth and wlan and for some reason these or the corresponding chips do not work.
Also trying to use suspend and hibernate gives GDBus error.
I already tried several potential solutions for the wlan (Atheros AR2413/2414) but none solved the problem. The weird thing is that the wlan chip seems to be detected by the OS and it is not hard or soft blocked but still it is not possible to connect to wireless network and the network manager lists no wireless networks.
Any ideas how to get these working?
