Hi,
I used to run a Kubuntu 12.10 on my Macbook Pro (version 6), using a dual boot with Mac OS.
I made a fresh install (Kubuntu 14.04 LTS) by erasing the former system (but neither my /home nor the Mac OS files).
(As usual, I followed the MactelSupportTeam/AppleIntelInstallation (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MactelSupportTeam/AppleIntelInstallation#Detailed_How-To) instructions.)
The installing process went fine, except that refit disappeared. I did install grub on my root Ubuntu partition (something like /dev/sda3).
So my Macbook is now booting directly to grub, from which I have 3 options:
- run Linux, which runs fine
- run MacOS 64, which leads to an error
- run MacOS 32, which does boot the system, but incredibly slow
What can I do to recover refit and hence MacOS?
Thanks!
