AMD Radeon r5, can't install from livecd

Trying to install 14.04 on AMD A8 with integrated radeon R5 graphics.
I get a scrambled screen no matter what i do.
Tried editing boot params before install no effect. Tried ...
radeon.modeset=0
nomodeset
nosplash noquiet nomodeset

Want to get rid of scrambled screen in order to install What do i type?

Nomodeset, radeon.modeset=0, no success....still get scramble screen during install which prevents me from reading prompts.
Any ideas?
