Thread moved to Ubuntu/Debian BASED.

You may have more luck here. Ubuntu, Linux & OS Chat is a non-support area of the forums.

PS: Best to be gender non-specific. There are lots of females here as well as 'sirs'.

Good luck. ;)

Hi baapek,
Where does the installation fail? You list 64 bit OS - does that mean you have windows? How are you going to put Ubuntu onto the exisiting disk layout/partitions?
By the way, if you are running an i7 you can use a 64 bit Ubuntu install. It is still possible to use 32 bit.
Cheers,

Bob
