I have a friend who needs to install Ubuntu as a dual boot for testing websites. Right now, he doesn't know which DE he's going to want, so he'd like to download the various live images and experiment before installing any of them. Is there a site that has all of the latest versions, or will he need to hunt around on his own for what he needs.

(BTW, that should be for LiveUSB in the title.)

I'm not sure why you seem to think your friend needs to try all the derivatives to test web sites, if it works on one version, it'll work on all of them, as they all use the same web browsers. If you just have to have all the versions, unfortunately they aren't all located in the same place. I usually just use something like:

ubuntu live iso

when searching for an iso, I just substitute the different derivative names when I want a different version.

I'd also suggest that if your friends computer has the resources, he use virtual box to install the different versions, then there is no need to reboot into a different version any time he needs to try out something new.

My personal main system has an 8 core cpu and 16GiB of ram, so I can assign almost any type of resources to any of the virtual operating systems.

He wants to try the different DEs so he can find out which one he wants to work with, not because he expects the website to show differently.

Different mirrors may have more versions.

Install ISO Mirrors:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+cdmirrors

But generally better to pick a local, faster mirror.

The first line in this link contains links many of the Ubuntu flavour download pages

Try Ubuntu (Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, ...) before installing it (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2230389)

It is a good idea to try Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop) (Kubuntu (http://www.kubuntu.org/getkubuntu), Lubuntu (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lubuntu/GetLubuntu), Xubuntu (http://xubuntu.org/getxubuntu/), Ubuntu Gnome (http://ubuntugnome.org/download/), Ubuntu Studio (http://ubuntustudio.org/download/), ...) before installing it. This can save a lot of trouble compared to installing directly.

All of those links may not point to the long time release version 14.04.1 LTS, but anyway, I recommend the LTS version for most users.

Thank you, Sudodus, that's pretty much what I was looking for. I was hoping that there was one place that had them all, but this will do very nicely. He has plenty of computer experience, although not with Linux, so I'd rather point him at one or another flavor of Ubuntu, instead of the Fedora that I prefer. I'll send him that link and let him play around until he knows which DE he wants.

And, thanx, Oldfred, but all you gave me was a list of mirrors for Ubuntu, with no other flavors available from all I could see.

Here you go.

http://releases.ubuntu.com/

One Link to rule them all, One Link to find them,
One Link to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

Each mirror has all the standard Ubuntu flavors, just go to your mirror and see what they have.
A mirror near me has Lubuntu and several other Linux distributions also.
When I click thru to mirror I see this in addition to all the Ubuntu versions, they also have archives of the older ones:
