minimized or closed window still shows

I'm not exactly sure how to describe this issue, but when minimizing some windows, or even closing them, they remain there on display even though they are minimized/closed, showing themselves over other windows/desktop, this also occurs when switching between workspaces, especially during a fullscreened game or steam.

Forget it, too many problems here. I'll just deal with them for now and start building a different OS for my system..
Problems with switching sound devices, problems with X freezing until I switch to and from a tty, problem where having the computer locked for too long causing wireless networking to stop working..

Idk if I can close this or what, but I'm no longer looking for an answer, and since it's unsolved I shouldn't mark it as solved... So if a mod or someone sees this, please feel free to close.
