Yesterday I have installed gparted..then i want to format my pendrive..suddenly computer hanged..so I restart the computer..but after that it was showing error:--

press F1 for boot or press F2 for bios settings.
so I want to format the computer..with a bootable pendrive with ubuntu 14.04.
but instalation time its saying:--
ERROR :
Input/output error during read on /dev/sda
retry ignore cancel
but no one of the above is working..what I have to do now??
