CPU usage on lxqt.org

If you visit lxqt.org (not www.lxqt.org please), do you find %CPU usage rising sharply? I think it's because of the image rotation but don't understand why. (I have integrated graphics, no GPU.)

At about the 58 second mark is when I opened lxgt.org. At about the 28 second mark, I switched to the www.lxqt (http://www.lxqt) org site. It does use more CPU. Sharply is an objective term. I would have expected more of an increase on this old PC.

My cpu usage seems to be all over the place on that site.
