View Full Version : cannot boot from usb and no boot menu option

I have lenovo z585 how to install ubuntu with uefi pre installed win 8. When restart it goes directly to lenovo logo and boot.i hav turned safe boot off priority legcy ,os option other os ,fast boot off in win 8, tried with novo key and advanced startup no luck please help

You need to press F12 to access the one time boot menu.

While Windows 8, your install should be similar to Windows 7 in this thread, except you have secure boot, fast boot (always on hibernation) type issues in addition.
