I got a new computer with a gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P mobo and was trying to install ubuntu 14.10 using one usb drive.
I couldnt get it to work, maybe something about the UEFI so I gave up and burned a dvd. After booting the dvd I thougt the screen was freezing and restarted the computer and booted again a few times, then I realized it was the mouse and keyboard that werent working.
I started switching the cables around and discovered that only one of all the usb ports work.
Also the ethernet port isnt working either. Bad iso burn maybe? Or mobo incompatibility?
