Welcome to the Ubuntu Forums :-)

I don't think I understand your problem.

What do you want, and how are you trying to get there?

Maybe you can select the second symbol from left at the bottom of the dash screen (at the yellow digit '2'). See the attached picture.

Hi, sudodus.

I can not search application in dash. For example: My Ubuntu already installed firefox but i can not search this application from dash. It just show recent open file.

Look at the attached file in my previous post.

1. Start Dash at the top left corner.

2. Click on the second symbol from left at the bottom of the dash screen (at the yellow digit 2). This symbol is similar to the letter A.

3. Click on 'Show more results' (or something in your language with that meaning).

When I do so, Dash will show Firefox (with its icon and name). Installed programs with names at the end of the alphabet will be found if you scroll the Dash display with the scroll-bar at the right edge.

Please try again, I think it should work like that in your computer too.

Another option (if you know the name) is to type the first few letters of the name. For example, you know Firefox, so type 'fir' or 'Fir', both work.
