View Full Version : Is there an easy way to install Gqrx so I can get my SDR on?

I picked up an RTL-SDR dongle a few months ago and in order to get Gqrx working I had to move from Point Linux 2.3(Debian Stable) over to Kali Linux which had it pre-installed then I moved to Manjaro Xfce which had Gqrx in the AUR. Now I've moved to Ubuntu MATE' for reasons I don't need to get into here BUT I'd like to be able to run Gqrx so I can play with my SDR dongle again. Is there any PPA's or anyway that I can get it installed other then having to try and compile it from source? Thanks.

I think that first link just may do the trick. Thanks.

Ended up using this link:
http://gqrx.dk/download
and let the software center install it and it works like a charm. Thanks again.
