Did the today's software update broke Firefox javascript functionalities?

Hi all, posting into the cafe to check feedbacks before reporting a real problem...

Does anyone experienced any problem with javascript in firefox, after activating the firebug console, after the today's ubuntu upgrade?
It seems to me that javascript stop working in firefox after activating the Firebug console.
Firefox v. 33
Ubuntu v. 14.04

Hi matteo16 and Welcome to Ubuntu,

Java is a on going problem here. they do not support Linux well. But firefox seems to be working for me with Icedtea plugin. you may want to give that a try.

SOLVED:
disabling and re-enabling the ADDON firebug, solved the issue.
