Hi,
I use ubuntu 13.10, 64-bit.
Sometimes, nautilus behaves strangely, and does not present the content of a folder.
For example, you can see that the folder seems to be empty, while the properties shows that the folder contain many items:
http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=257246&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1413404737
And indeed, after logoff and login, the folder shows the content:
http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=257247&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1413405027
Another example shows 67 folders in a folder:
http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=257248&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1413405171
BUt after logoff and login, it shows 69 folders:
http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=257249&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1413405183
Why does it happen and how can it be fixed?
Notice that:
- The folders were created from python, and they contain symlinks.
- It happens only sometimes.
Thanks,
Alon
