View Full Version : [SOLVED] how long is 12.04 LTS supported for Desktop version ( not server version )?

How long will support be provided for 12.04 LTS for the desktop version?
Wikipedia shows a date of 2017-04, but not sure, that might
be for the server version only.

With 12.04 and later LTS desktops, 5 yrs is the support timeframe.

But the developers of the Flavours make their own decisions based on their ability to provide support. For Xubuntu 12.04 it is ....


The support window for Xubuntu 12.04 will end on April 2015. The Ubuntu core for 12.04 is supported until April 2017.
