Hello,
I have upgraded from xubuntu 12.04 to 14.04; it seems all went well except for the keyboard layout in X: it has been reset from french to english, even though I have an "fr_FR" notification in the upper right corner.
I tried clicking on it then on "français - France" in the menu to try to force the french layout but it didn't change anything. I have much trouble typing my password (I have special non alphanumeric chars in it), so I need a way to be sure that the FR layout is available on boot login.
Which way is there to do that? Do I need to modify a file in /etc or somewhere else?
Thanks.
