Forum's 10 today

You may or may not know, the forums are 10 today ! Here is the first visible thread :

All our thanks to the Ubuntu project, to ubuntu-geek who first started the forums and had them grow, to all the numerous Staff and Admins who have given their time and energy and most of all to all the members who contribute their knowledge, presence and really make what the forums are : a unique small internet spot that has evolved over a decade.

I have been on forums for 25+ years. I have seen many come and go. Few make it to 10 years because of infighting with the admins or the shape of the forum and its context. Congrats. I will tip a glass of Johnny Walker Blue to you tonight.

This is true,or the Admins turn into control freaks and chase everyone off, or people just quit posting for a variety of reasons. This forum has stood the test of time for sure.

Pedant that I am, I think there's a typo in your post... a 'd' instead of an 's' (should be has 3774 posts rather than had - probably some more by now).
