I am using my 14.04 on my HP phoenix envy 810 pc series and it worked fine for several months. In a matter of minutes it went from being hard to type characters into programs I was using to being unusable. I restarted it, but it takes for ever to get back to the point where I can use TTY. The HP splash screen can take up to 5 minutes now, the one that is normally up for no more then 30 seconds when I first start up the computer. I can enter my password from the GUI, but then am not able to actually navigate the desktop. I drop to TTY and am able to use bash commands.

From the research I have done it seems like the issue should be related to memory, or my graphics card. I am attaching a photo of what dmesg looks like. Can someone please let me know if I am going in the right direction. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
