MSI GE60, what version of Ubuntu 14.04 i have to install?64-bit or 64-bit Mac(AMD64)?

Hi everybody!

I'm new, today i'm going to receive my new laptop, I want to install Ubuntu 14.04 but I don't know what do i have to install.

The question is:
Ubuntu 64-bit or Ubuntu 64-bit Mac (AMD64)?

Ubuntu 64 bit. Try to "burn" the iso on a USB Stick and boot to it so that you can try it out.

The MAC version probably is Ubuntu for MAC computers.

New systems are UEFI which is a lot different than the old BIOS with MBR configuration.
And Windows 8 with secure boot and always on hibernation or fast boot adds to the complications.
You do need to review several of the links to how to install on new UEFI systems.
