Tried to do a "sandbox" upgrade from 12.04 with 5.7 GB available and ran out of disk space. I'd like to know if I'll have the same problem with an actual upgrade?
I thought I'd try expanding the available space by creating an ext3-formatted file on the windows partition and mounting it on /tmp. It mounted OK, but I couldn't login except via terminal. I haven't yet tried doing the "sandbox" upgrade from that configuration.
