I have an old laptop.
It's a good machine.
But unfortunately, circumstances brought me to need to update to the stock recovery, which was ubntu 8.04.
I'd like to get to the most recent version of ubuntu. I have no access to any sort of flash drive or burnable CD.
My old trick of upgrading from 8.04 LT to 10.04 LT seems kaput now. ("Failed to fetch") Does anyone have any tips?
