I am working quite happily with 14.04 but have had a couple of instances when it suddenly falls over and all I get is a black screen a cursor.
In general this isn't a big deal for me but I don't recall having the problem with earlier releases. The last time it happened I was using Firefox and looking at pictures on Flickr.
