The manpage for openbox appears to have a number of items removed from it, including --reconfigure and --restart. The features are still there. This strikes me as bizzare, and I'm curious if anyone can offer insight.

Compare:

Interesting! I use Openbox but never consulted the man pages. I found other resources such as openbox.org and forums of distros that run provide Openbox as their default manager to be more useful. Then there's the Openbox mailing list (mostly low activity): http://icculus.org/mailman/listinfo/openbox

And the PCLinuxOS magazine (http://pclosmag.com/index.html) has some very nice introductory articles on aspects of Openbox. And then there's Urukrama's blog (urukrama.wordpress.com/openbox-guide/) which is a must read.

I know all this doesn't address why the Ubuntu man pages are deficient relative to the other one, but ...
