So, what I'm trying to do is having a dashboard like in Mac OSX in my Ubuntu 14.04. I've tried to achieve this with a compiz widget layer and the screenlet widgets.
So, currently the widgets appear fine in the widget layer, but the problem is, that the programms running in the background stil have focus. Meaning, I can not move, interact or do something else with the widgets, when I try to click them, the click just goes through them and clicks something in the background (so for example, if my firefox is in the background I click the link, instead of e.g. the number on the calculator widget).
So with that, the widgets are not really functional, and I haven't found a solution for that on the internet.
Does anyone know, what the issue could be here?
