Black dot in the middle of every window's title bar icon

Here is a nice mosaic of the problem.

This started by itself after an update a while back.

I have it on both of my computers and on one of them I have installed only a few command line tools like screen and SSH.

I really don't see what I could have done to make this happen.

Suggestions?

Update: If I mouse over the icon, the black dot disappears until I move the cursor away.


BONUS.: Extra geek cred to whoever can tell were the icon bellow Firefox comes from ;)

Well the icon below firefox is skiifree. (Windows 3.1 FTW)
I am really bad at it.

I'm afraid the dots I have no idea.... I am guessing you have already poked around in the xfce appearance settings?

kudos to maxinstuff2 for figuring out the skiifree icon! heres some pop corn :popcorn:

@ibjsb4 I dont know why I did'nt think of that... it could very well be the theme, although I dont remember changing the theme on my laptop. I will double check and update.

@ibjsb4 Well you were right! It was my custom theme causing the problem... which makes me feel like a noob lol thanks for jump starting my brain :)
