I do not run Lubuntu, but I do have LXDE installed. It comes with a package called lxsession-logout.

I don't know for sure, but I would think that this can be installed on yours. Perhaps someone else will come along and either verify that or give you a better idea.

Do you NOT have that icon on the bottom right? On my Lubuntu 14.04.1 it's just to the right of the date and time.
