Trying to install sodipody

I have come a long way in installing sodipody, however when I try to compile sodipody I get this error:

Just curious but why are you trying to install it and not just use Inkscape? According to wikipedia, it's been "discontinued" in 2004 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodipodi).
