Eclipse Problem

hi all, i m new in here and ubuntu.
I m developping android project on windows but i want to change windows to ubuntu.
Actually i like it more quality than other.
I install eclipse adt.But The Eclipse was disapper suddenly, suddenly closed. I can't understand why it closed.

Maybe the answer is just "Eclipse on Ubuntu SUCKS". :-(

I've been using Eclipse on Ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04 and it just crashes the JVM once in a while. Like every 5 minutes. Or every hour. Depending. Depending on what? I don't know. I've tried several options for the JVM, Oracle's included, from 1.6 to 8. I've tried GTK 2 and 3. I've tried Unity, xfce, kde... I've tried intel driver for X, radeon driver for X...

I don't know what else to try.

It's a pain.

(sorry, not feeling very positive today)
