I have a few extra computers lying around that I want to use as a penetration testing environment.
All of the tutorials I found online were for VMs, not actual computers

So how can I setup an actual server with these computers, which is designed for penetration testing?

I am basically just wanting to set up an actual server, not a VM.
If it's the same then I guess it answers my question

Installing a distribution on hardware is exactly the same as installing it in a VM.
