Hello everyone :-)

I don't know how, but my GUI has changed.
I woke up to find my computer shut down.
When I rebooted I noticed that the letters are different, my Thunderbird is different with larger different fonts, and in general the GUI is different .. mainly bigger fonts and more "crude" graphics.. I don't know how to explain it better.

Can anyone guess what has been done, and more importantly how to revert back to my original (more ellegant) settings?

Thanks

Open System Settings>Details. What information does it give about graphics? Does it say, llvmpipe. If it does then you are running on an open source video driver that Ubuntu uses as a fall back mode.

Have you tried rebooting?

It got fixed after the second reboot !!

I will mark this solved... but out of curiosity.. does anyone have any idea of what might have happened?

@grahammechanical The information in the previous screen is identical.

It seems that this problem is more permanent that I would like it to be...

Now I need several reboots after I start in the morning to make it go to the GUI that I have set it...

I am posting 3 images from the GUI that is loading for some unknown reason..

and then the last 2 images are from the GUI that is supposed to be the default.

I am going to submit an answer with one more picture from the default GUI.

Can anyone understand what is going on, and maybe suggest a solution?

Thank you all :-)
