So I was installing 14.04 from 13.10 and mid way through at configuring gcc I believe, my computer freezes for over 3 hours. And while I know it's probably the worst thing I could've done, I restarted my computer and now as soon as the start-up animation begins, it immediately cuts off and goes to a black screen with white lettering saying BusyBox 1.12 I think and something like ":>initframes" and suggesting I type "help" for a list of commands, not all of which work....... So I fear I have just lost all the data I have on that OS and would greatly appreciate any help from anyone. Thanks!

P.S. I'm currently running on the main boot of windows 7 (gross) to type this.
