Hello guys.
Since ElementaryOS is based on Ubuntu and this forum is great, I'm trying to find a solution to my problem this way. :)
I installed some updates yesterday. Everything was fine. Wanted to fire up Elementary today, but only found my Windows 8 boot option (I'm dualbooting Win8 and ElementaryOS)
The EFI folder on the Elementary OS partition is also empty, which was not the case before I believe. Also, the boot information is available if I mount S: on windows to see the bootloader information. Even though EOS is there, rEFInd does not show it.
What can be the matter? How can I make EOS bootable again?
Thanks for any input!
