Running Ubuntu 14.04 on HP Pavilion Laptop, G60-535DX (VM085UA) . The video card in the laptop is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M according to the Specs.

I'm running an external video screen, a Dell 0G6566 flat panel.

Previous Ubuntu version, after bootup, would display the logon screen on the external monitor.

After upgrade I noticed 2 things.
1. I am forced to login via the laptop after boot-up. That is after boot-up, both laptop and external display show the background video, but only the laptop shows the login screen.
After login the laptop goes black and all is ok on the external monitor.

2. Previous Ubuntu version, the login would display on the external monitor and the rest of the behavior was the same.
Also, I'm getting a bit of scrambled video on the bottom of the screen on the external monitor. That goes away after login.

This is a minor annoyance, but I thought I would post it to see if anyone else experiences this and/or if there is a fix.

Thanks,
Allen
