A white one-pixel line runs the length of the right side of the Launcher in Unity. It's visibility varies depending on the background in use. But, as far as I can see, it's always there, regardless of theme.

A bug? Feature? Removable?

No, no & no
It's the border, I believe has always been there & likely part of the design.

Hmmm... If it's intended, I'd say it needs to be improved.

I have my doubts, tho, that it's intended as a border. Can't see deciding to make a 1-pixel line without color a border. E.g, the pixels are visible so it isn't a border so much as a row of dots; against a dark background and a dark launcher it stands out and against light backgrounds it fades.

If you're talking about the same line I'm seeing, it's translucent, not white...
