I installed the unity tweak tool program so I could move my maximize, minimize buttons to the right side of the screen. The install went fine, I can open and run the program. When I choose to move the buttons to the right side, there is no way to execute the command, IE: it doesn't do anything immediately and I see no 'OK" Button to click on, to make the change complete. However some of the other changes work immediately. As soon as I close the program after trying to move the buttons the default settings change back to LEFT in the tweak program.

Is it possible I installed the wrong version? I chose the default one from the list of 2. The name of the one not used is "v0.0.6ubuntu2~ubuntu14.04.1 (trusty-backports)"

Thank you,

J T

This function does't seem work since the ability to display the application menu in title bar was added in 14.04. It has been reported and Ubuntu Tweak has removed the setting in the latest version. It might still be in UT because 13.10 was still supported when 14.04 came out. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-tweak-tool/+bug/1310056

Well that wasn't what I wanted to hear :( but I guess it is what it is. Since I am new to Ubuntu and Unity I don't mind that DE it seems fine to me since I have little to no Linux experience.

Thanks
