Hi, I'm using the latest plain Ubuntu, which I'm generally very happy with, on my desktop computer. I usually have the option to automatically turn of the screen after 10 minutes enabled, so I won't have to do it manually. However, sometimes I'm watching longer videos in my browser and such, the screen turns off when I don't want it to. To disable the option, I have to go all the way into the system settings and turn it off. I would love if it was somehow possible to have a shortcut for this, such as a button in the notification area.
