Problem Booting Ubuntu, Stale NFS file handle

Hello all,

i am currently trying to boot Ubuntu 10.10 over tftp. Everything works fine first but after some time i get the line:
"run init: overmounting root: Stale NFS file handle"

I just can't figure out why i get this message, even though I know what it means.

I hope somebody have a suggestion for me! If you need more information just tell me :)

Ubuntu 10.10 reached its end of life support a long time ago.

I suggest you try a supported release as ubuntu 12.04 or 14.04.

Hello claracc,

thanks for your fast answer. Yes i know but it is a modified version used for booting on an xbox! :) And there is no other/newer version of ubuntu modified for xbox 360.
