Hey Guys

I would like to have my lubuntu startup with no GIU...im pretty sure thats possible but I also want to be able to launch the GUI with a command.

Would that be possible?

Hi Cart2 and welcome to the world of ubuntu,

you can follow the advice in this blog (http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2014/01/boot-into-text-console-ubuntu-linux-14-04/) and it will do what you want :)

That does work indeed.
Altough I wont know how I would be able to launch it if i closed it?
