I recently experimented with some programs and now I am missing the Time of Day on the top Desktop line, the menu bar.
I did a sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop and this did not change anything. Any ideas on how to correct?
I attached a text file that indicates the 'missing' menu item

System Settings>Time and Date. In 14.04 there is a Clock tab with a box labelled Show a clock in the menu bar. It might be the same in 12.04

Using 12.04. On systems Settings I do not have a System Settings>Time and Date option.
I tried all of the System-Settings but did not locate anything that has that option.
There is no Systems-Settings Clock option for 12.04 ? Stange indeed as I had the menu bar time yesterday (?).
I am thinking that it is the System76 OS setup that has been altered(?) and the the System Settings>System does not include
the Date & Time icon.
