Hello,

I'm new user here.
I wanted to change my old Win Xp to some new linux distribution and have some problems during installation. I tried to install Mint 14.04, Ubuntu 14.04, and Xubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 12.04 and unfortunatelly with all this distribution I had the same problem, during installation my keyboard didn't work at all. In Windows XP, and in GRUB keyboard working well.
I have laptop LG P1-LPCJY. At last I managed to install Xubuntu 12.04 and keyboard is working, but it would be nice if I can install newest version of Xubuntu :)
Do you have some advice for me:>?

Run the live session and set up the keyboard from there. Test it out. Then run the installer by clicking the Install Ubuntu/Xubuntu icon on the desktop.

within live session I had the same problem in version 14.04 keyboard didn't work.

I installed 12.04 upgraded to 14.04 and when I start ubuntu I tried advanced options and notice that when I start kernel 3.13 keyboard dosen't work, but when I start kernel 3.2 keyboard is ok.

Is there any way to set this as default? (starting ubuntu with kernel 3.2?)
Regards.
